Does anyone else feel like this year has just gone by? Honestly, I swear April was like three weeks ago! Anyway, unless my calendar is lying, it is now December: which means it’s time for exams, deadlines and stressful Christmas shopping. But before all of that, I’d like to reflect on this past month with my favourites!
If you’re anything like me, chances are you’ll always be looking for something new to watch on Netflix. I mean, how else am I supposed to eat my breakfast/lunch/dinner if not whilst watching something great and entertaining? (Seriously, this has now become an issue – I actually get up earlier than I normally would just so I can watch something during breakfast time.)
Well, if you are a little bit lost and don’t know what to watch, or if you’re just looking for any future possibilities and stuff to put on your list: you came to the right place. I bring you: my Netflix Recommendations – part 1!
I can’t believe October is over! It’s gone by so fast. Now it’s November which means two things: 1) more cosy jumpers and, 2) Christmas is coming, alert, alert, I need to start thinking about presents! Anyway, not to get ahead of myself: let me just appreciate October for the great month it was by sharing with you some of my favourites – geeky style, of course.
We all have those days when we feel down. Sometimes there is a good reason for it, sometimes it’s just something that came over you out of nowhere and you can’t quite explain why you’re feeling this way. And when this time comes, it can sometimes be hard to deal with it. Friends, good cup of tea and some delicious snack might help but what I find really useful is to just immerse myself in a different world: and that’s when TV shows come in. If you like me feel the need to escape the real world then read on: these are my favourite TV shows to binge watch when I’m feeling blue.
This last Friday I went to see It, the new horror film which is an adaptation of Stephen King‘s famous novel. It was the first horror film I ever saw (I get scared way too easily so I usually avoid this genre) and I really enjoyed it. Therefore I decided to share my experience & opinions of the film with you.
Recently I wrote a post in which I ranked all the seasons of Game of Thrones – and you, my readers, seemed to enjoy it. To be honest, so did I – I love rankings: both writing them and reading them. I wanted to do another one and what would be better than to rank my all time childhood series: Harry Potter.
Now, in this post I will be ranking the films, not the books. (I might do that one in the future and trust me, the list would look completely different.) I have been a Potterhead for as long as I can remember and I’ve seen all the films so many times I lost count. I love some of them and I am not that fond of some. Well, you can see that for yourselves in my ranking.
August has gone, September is here. That means less lying about and more studying, working and being tired. Yay! (To be honest, that ‘yay’ is only half-sarcastic.)
Before we all get into our September mode and start being all serious again, I’d like to celebrate the month that August 2017 was. I got to travel a lot, see and do loads of things and I really enjoyed myself these last 30 days. Therefore it comes as no surprise at all that I have many favourites from this past month that I’d like to share with you guys.
Game of Thrones – almost everyone’s favourite TV Show. A show so popular that even my parents from the Czech Republic who don’t really care for foreign TV have heard of it. A show so popular that I genuinly cannot think of anyone who has not seen at least one episode of it. Well, what can I say – it’s just great.
Since season 7 finished not long ago, I’ve been thinking about GoT a lot. About the characters, the plot, what’s going to happen next etc. I knew I wanted to write something about it and to be completely honest, I got like a hundred different ideas for posts (not all of them good, of course). And since there are now 7 seasons out there, I thought it might be a good idea to try and rank them from the worst to the best season. Because who doesn’t like a good ranking list?
If you aren’t familiar with the show then consider yourself warned: there will be some spoilers in this post. Sorry.
